Shayla Daunne Harris

Shayla was born on May 3, 2010 at 1258pm, at San Juan Hospital in Monticello Utah. She was 6lbs 7oz and 19 inches. She got her first air plane ride on the 4th when she started to run a low grade fever so she got flown to St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction where they ran labs to find out what was causing the fever. They dont know what caused it but she is fine and we are both really happy to be home.
Her Brothers love her already. She makes a little cry and they start to run over and give her kisses to make her feel better.

Getting Closer

I will be having Shayla no later then May 6th. I have been having headaches and noticed I was retaining water so I called my Dr. He had me come in and ran some tests and found out that I have Preeclampsia. I just have to watch what I do and my salt intake and how high my blood pressures get.
The boys are doing pretty good. They are really excited for sister to come.
Justin has been so cute the last little while. He loves to snuggle with his Uncle Scott. He gives sister kisses all the time (my belly). We found out that he has low iron.
James is becoming quite the little helper. He knows most of his colors and can count to 9. His 7's sound like 11 though.
Daegon is getting so tall it is unreal that he is 4 already. I do need to get him to be around other kids more so he wont be so scared to go to preschool next year.
That is my life at this point in time.

Time to update......Ok so I was a little slow.

So I am having a girl finally. Things are going great with her she is doing good. My Dad really wants me to have her on his birthday sense I was born on his dads 51st he thinks it would be awesome if I had her on his 51st. We will see only time can tell.
I got certified as an EMT.
They boys are doing alot better we have tried a new switch of the kids to keep our custody right and it seems to be working out alot better.
My sister took some pictures of the boys when we were up in Logan. She is starting up her own photography buisness thing. She is really good at taking pictures even if the snow doesnt want to agree.

Waiting game.

Life has its possitives and negatives and some times our plans dont go the way we want them to. I just have to wait now to find out what is going to happen. Emplyment is one hard game in life. Possitive of it all is I have more time for my kids. :)

Changes in Life.

I havent really wrote alot lately with the Divorce and school. I got Certified as a CNA and in time I will become an RN but I have to take my time to get there. I am in the EMT course again and WILL get certified this time.
I am due on May 21st and hope it is a girl. But if not I am fine with another boy. I am looking for a job again, hope I get one I have a plan and if it pulls trough I will be employed next week. :)

Alot has happend

Well Jacob and I are divorced now. I am expecting my fourth and final child. The boys are taking the divorce kindof hard. Daegon is taking it the best. In time they will understand what is going on but until then it is going to be hard.

Twilight

Jacob and I have been reading the Twilight series and we just finished it last night. Wow they are such good books. I recommend them to everyone to read. It didn't end like I thought it would have.
Now what to read next???

Life For Me!! :(

Ok to update you guys I am been really busy with Dr.'s appointments and PT. I hurt my knee at work and I am waiting to have surgery. I am currently working in different departments at the hospital because I was put on paper work duty. :( I wish I could be back on the floor. The kids are getting big, and other then that we are all doing good. I am struggling trying to potty train Daegon. It isn't working. Oh well in time.

Outside

I got a hair brain idea that I needed to clean the van while the kids took a nap. Needless to say I was still cleaning it when they woke up. Not wanting to stop in the middle of it I brought there bikes outside and let them play.

it's all ok

After talking with the Dr. we found out that it wasn't cancer but it was the stage right before. So he had 2 more removed and we will find out on those two in a couple of weeks. We also found out that his back is allergic to tape.

Unexpected

I have been watching this mole behind Jacob's ear sense before we got married. This whole time I have been thinking it has been growing. The other day when I was cutting his hair I almost cut it off. I had never done that before so I made him go to the Dr's. and they found another one on his back that they wanted to take off and get it tested. So the Dr took both of them off. I called the Dr. office on the 7Th to find out the results from Jacobs biopsy. Well they came back positive for cancer. I am not sure just yet how bad it is but we are going back to the Dr's on the 11Th and will find out how bad it is and what needs to happen to get rid of it.

Busy life

Christmas was good, the kids made out good. They got spoiled but thank goodness most of it was cloths.
I started school on the 6th. I didn't know scrapbooking was needed for the CNA course but little do I know. It is going good.
Jacob got new shifts he is now working 4 10 hr shifts, and he has every weekend off.
Justin is getting big, James still only has 6 teeth, and Daegon is about the same. They still are keeping the tradition that they started about being sick all the time. But I was told that it is good for them to be sick 8 out of the 12 months a year. (I don't agree but what do I know I am just Dr. Mom)

Back to work I went 3 weeks after Justin arrived. Work has changed alot from when I left. But hopefully it will get better. The boys are doing pretty good, other than they all have a cold. It is to be expected with me and Jacob both working at the hospital. Justin is gaining almost a pound a week. The other two love their little brother and can't seem to give him enough kisses. Halloween was pretty fun. Daegon was a ninja turtle and james was a dog.

He is finally here

The day came on Oct 1, 2008. I went to see my Doctor on Monday to see if he would start my on the 1st. My grandpa passed away and I didn't need to go into labor while I was there. Well it worked he said he would for the fact that I had been contracting for 2 months and I had gone in more then any other patient then he had ever had before.
Wensday morning came and I got to the hospital and it all started. I got pit and they broke my water at 930. At 315 I caved and got IV meds to help me relax. At 351 he was born. With a true knot in his umbilical cord. It was also wraped around his neck and his arm. My doctor was glad he started me that day and didn't wait tell the next week. Who knows what would have happend if we would have waited.
That night he went to sleep at 730 and wouldn't wake up until 1130 the next morning. We tried everything, they even drew blood and he wouldn't wake up. He is doing great now and is getting big.

Home sick NO Work Sick

I never remembered staying at home being so hard. I guess that is what happends when you work for so long. I am ready to return to work. But it wont be happening. I just hope that the rest of the time I have at home will go by faster. Such is life I did this to myself. The day before I got put taken off of work I told my mom that I was ready to go on bed rest to get a break from work. What was I thinking. It is almost easier to work. Not to mention when you are struggling with bills as it is and now you have to figure out what to do to bring in money because you can't work. I don't think I will be taking the full 6 weeks off again. 3 weeks will probably be all I stay home again. What to do about it. I have no idea. I need a life other then work and maybe it would be easier.

Cranky Baby

Last night I spent 4 hours at the hospital getting and IV and the whole works. My Body decided that it needed to contract. I went in for sharp pains in my stomach. After about 1/2 hour of being in on the monitor the nurse comes in and tells me I have been contracting. "Oh BOY", Well now I am no longer alowed to work and I am to take some medication 3 times a day to see if it will make the contractions calm down so that the baby will stay in there for atleast 6 more weeks.

Job Search

I have been looking for a new job the last little while. I have found several that I wouldn't mind haveing the only problem is that they don't want to hire me. I have this problem, it is called a baby. They take one look at my stomach and tell me no. Ok so it isn't that fast.
We are wanting to move away from this area for College reasons. and other things. We need to get into our own place and fun stuff like that.
We went up to Logan the other day to see what we could find. It was fun to just see my sister and the kids had friends to play with. They loved the out doors. I really like her house because of the fenced back yard where the kids can run around and play without me haveing to worry about them running away. A place where kids can be kids.

James got his first tooth FINALLY

At James's last Dr.s appointment his dr said he wanted me to get X-Rays done to make sure he had teeth. I pretty much said no for the fact that it would take until Oct to get him in. Not to mention my sister didn't get her first tooth until she was 15 months. So I ignored it and let him go on his way. He got his first tooth yesterday. Yeah he has chompers now. In a few months maybe I wont have to chop all his food up into swollowing size bites.
